What Is It?

What Is Guitarmalade LIVE?

Guitarmalade LIVE is a live online group lesson and workshop format with Christopher Schreiner. Each session has a focused topic — a scale system, a style, a concept — so you walk away with something concrete every time you show up.

It's not passive video watching. It's live instruction, real-time Q&A, and the energy of learning alongside other guitarists who are working toward the same thing you are.

What You'll Build

What You'll Build

  • Fretboard fluency — CAGED system, scale connections, neck navigation
  • Blues playing — pentatonic vocabulary, phrasing, bends, and feel
  • Neo soul and R&B — chord voicings, extensions, and groove
  • Modes and practical music theory — applied, not academic
  • Improvisation — how to build ideas, develop them, and sound like yourself
  • Rhythm and feel — timing, dynamics, and playing with the track
  • Practice strategy — structure your time between sessions for real progress

FAQ

Common Questions

Do I need to be at a specific skill level?

Sessions are designed for beginner to intermediate guitarists. If you know a few chords and can tune your guitar, you're ready. Advanced players are welcome too — there's always something to sharpen.

How is this different from private lessons?

Private lessons are 100% customized to your individual goals. Guitarmalade LIVE follows a shared curriculum where everyone builds the same foundational fluency together. Many students do both.

What equipment do I need?

Your guitar, an internet connection, and Zoom. An audio interface isn't required but does improve sound quality if you have one.

Where does the community live?

The Guitarmalade community is hosted on Skool — a platform for serious learners to connect, share progress, and keep each other accountable between sessions.
